Cricket in India is played on village grounds and in box cricket nets far more often than in stadiums, and almost none of it gets scored properly. CricMaidan is for that cricket.
A proper scorecard — extras, wickets credited to the right bowler, run rates and net run rate calculated the way the rules actually say. It keeps working when the signal drops and sends the deliveries once it returns.
Create a tournament, add teams and players, generate fixtures, and run a player auction if you want one. Box cricket sides of six or eight are supported, not just elevens.
Anyone can follow a live match without an account. Scores update on their own, ball by ball, and any match can be shared to WhatsApp with the score in the preview.
Runs and wickets follow the player across every tournament they enter, so a record builds up season after season instead of starting again each time.

Anyone can use CricMaidan to score their own matches and run their own tournaments. Each organiser manages what they create, and every player keeps their own profile and career.
It is paid for by advertising from local businesses rather than by charging players, which is why using it and watching a match will always be free.
