For CricMaidan — free for anyone to use
Watching matches is free and needs no account. You need one to run a tournament, score a match or keep a player profile.
Anyone with an account can create their own quick match or tournament and manage it: teams, players, fixtures, auction and scores. You manage only what you created — other people cannot change your matches, and you cannot change theirs.
Keep your login to yourself. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you — which matters, because a scorer's entries decide a result.
You are responsible for what you add: team names, player names, photos and scores. Do not upload a photo of someone who has not agreed to it, and do not add anything abusive, obscene, or pretending to be a person or club you are not.
We can remove anything that breaks those rules, and close accounts that keep breaking them, without notice. In practice this is about spam tournaments and fake teams rather than honest mistakes.
Scores are entered by people, and people make mistakes. CricMaidan shows what the scorer entered — it does not decide who won a match. Disputes are for the organisers of that tournament to settle, not for us.
Scorecards of matches you played in stay on the app even if you delete your account, with your name removed. They belong to everyone who played that match, not to one player. Everything personal — your login, email, number and photo — is erased.
The app carries advertising from local businesses, which is what pays for it. An advert appearing here is not a recommendation, and anything you buy from an advertiser is between you and them.
CricMaidan is a free service. We try to keep it running through every match, but we cannot promise it will never be down, and we are not responsible for a match that goes unscored because of it. Keep a paper scorebook for a final.
These terms may change as the app grows. Continuing to use it after a change means you accept the new version.
